Taking over an existing website
Inheriting a site starts with finding out what you actually own and what state it is in. That is what the audit is for.

If a site fails the audit badly — abandoned theme, unsupported page builder, no backups — we quote a rebuild instead of a takeover, and say so plainly.

Common questions
What do I need to provide?
Your logo if you have one, text for each page, any photos you want used, and access to your domain. If the text is the blocker — it usually is — we will draft it from a call and you edit, rather than waiting months for perfect copy.
How long does it take?
A simple business site can be live in about a week once we have your content and photos. Most projects take about a month; stores and custom integrations take longer.
Do I own the site?
Yes — the domain, the hosting account, the code and the content are all yours. If you leave, we hand over everything and help your next provider take it on.
What happens after the first 3 months of Care?
Care continues monthly at the plan rate and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. If you would rather take the site elsewhere, we export it and hand over access.
Can you take over our existing site?
Usually. It starts with a $295 Website Takeover Audit ($195 for Shopify) that recovers and documents access, backs everything up, and reports what needs fixing. The audit is credited in full if you join a Care plan within 30 days. If the site turns out to be built on something abandoned or unsupported, we quote a rebuild instead and tell you why.
Can I get business email with it?
Yes, and it is worth doing at the same time. Domain email, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace setup are all offered at build time, so your email is not an afterthought that lands in everyone’s spam folder.
